Unfortunately, I don’t remember it saying that they were lovers, but I’m glad I know this now. The way Hyacinth died is actually an interesting story. They were throwing a discus.  Apollo threw it, and it ended up killing Hyacinth. Poor Apollo, I can’t imagine how something like that would feel.

We read this story last year while studying Mythology (reading from the book Mythology by Edith Hamilton).

Unfortunately, I don’t remember it saying that they were lovers, but I’m glad I know this now.
